ADAM HALE

SENIOR MINISTER

Adam joined the staff of GCC in the fall of 2017. Adam is the primary communicator and vision caster for GCC. Adam is married to Kristy and they have 2 adult children, Noah and Eli. Adam is an avid University of Louisville fan and officiates a number of high school sports along with Little League baseball and softball.

MIKE BELL

EXECUTIVE MINISTER

Mike came to Glendale in 1970. Mike handles many of the day-to-day

operations of the church. Mike was the preaching minister for over 40 years

here at GCC and has touched thousands of lives through his ministry. Mike’s

wife Sharon went to be with the Lord in 2015. Mike has 2 sons Jon (Annie) &

Chris (Heather), 2 granddaughters, Sam and Caehla and 1 great-granddaughter,

S.J. Mike is the P.A. announcer for Central Hardin basketball and softball.

BOBBY THOMPSON

STUDENT MINISTER

Bobby joined the GCC staff in January of 2019. Bobby is responsible for all things related to middle school and high school. Bobby is married to Angela and they have 2 sons, William and Ethan. Bobby serves as a mentor in the Hardin County School system, drives a morning bus route for HCS and serves on the board of directors at White Mills Christian Camp.

DAN FORD

WORSHIP MINISTER

Dan joined the GCC staff in April of 2023. Dan coordinates and leads us in the music portion of our worship service. Dan is married to Shannon and they have 3 children. Dennis, Nathan and Ellie. Dan works with a great group of volunteers who use their talents to lead us before God’s throne in worship each week.

CHELSEA POWELL

CHILDREN’S MINISTER

Chelsea grew up in GCC and she joined the staff in a part time capacity in October of 2018. Chelsea handles all of our children’s ministry programming for children from birth through 5th grade. Chelsea is married to Chase and they have 2 children, Andrew and Nora.

HEATHER BELL

SECRETARY

Heather is the voice you’re most likely to hear if you call the office. Heather started in her role as secretary in 2006. She’s the friendly face and voice that welcomes you into the building during the week. Heather is married to Chris, they have 2 adult daughters, Sam and Caehla and 1 granddaughter, S.J.
